What's your biggest workplace challenge at the moment?

I have a very thick skin. Anyone who knows me, knows that I do not fall apart easily. This is a good thing, given the fact that I am now in the depths of user-generated content and in a position that brings on a new kind of stress.
The cloak of anonymity donned by the sea of users out in cyber-land, many who breed in online communities, can wreak havoc for the person responsible for engaging the community and fostering it's growth.

I recently shared a tale of woe in this blog: The troll and the n-word.

It circulated like wild fire and my page views soared that day.
The comments were quite empathetic and I learned that there are many of us bearing the brunt of the anonymous bully.
This issue is now more than a week old and I'm not bothered by it too much anymore.

But it sat with me for a few days, I can admit that.
